Fantastic flashlight — the variable brightness feature is pretty unique and works very well. Super bright and a tactile pleasure. Thinking about getting another.

Fabulous personalized service – 10/10 – you both rock 🙂

The reflector was scratched. I was offered a new one and accepted. Nothing showed up.
The flashlight works as advertised but you do have to really tighten it to get maximum lumens. Mine doesn’t work with button top batteries. The real selling point is it is very tough, with very little that can go wrong. These days you can get 1600mah 18350 cells, which combined with the low output means the flashlight will run a long time. So far I have managed to turn it off properly and not run the battery down. This may seem like a luke warm review but it is a one off purchase. I probably won’t have to buy another one, and it hasn’t left my pocket since it arrived.

Great light and value as is and would love to see where it can go from here

This flashlight has become one of my favorites in my collection. It’s very durable due to the design, very easy to use as it has no programmed UI, and you can choose whatever brightness you may need by simply twisting. Another big bonus for enthusiasts is the ease of swapping LEDs, though you may not feel the need to as the light ships with a nice LED.

The only drawbacks to this flashlight in my opinion are that it requires a little more maintenance than a standard flashlight (such as lubrication for the brass piston and replacing the smart material when worn), and that it is also a fair bit larger in diameter than other 18350 flashlights on the market. I most often carry mine in my bag or in a jacket pocket. I believe that these are perfectly acceptable trade-offs for such a unique and durable design and the trade-offs don’t cause any real issues for me.

I would recommend this flashlight (and other Fraz Labs lights) if you have the budget for it and want something that will be durable, unique, and easy to use.
